Maple Pecan Latte – Starbucks & Dunkin
I’m a pumpkin spice girl during this time of year, don’t get me wrong. It’s just, the flavors of Fall are calling and they want me to try! One of those flavors is the Maple Pecan Latte from Starbs. This speciality latte is flavored with a sauce rather than a syrup and is sweet but not overpowering! The drink has a strong maple taste but gets balanced with the notes of pecans. I’ve only tried this iced at Starbucks so I can’t vouch whether or not the hot version is just as great. Pick one up for yourself and let me know how it is!
Ole Henriksen Wonderfeel Double Cleanser
I’ve always neglected my skin in the past and haven’t paid much attention to newer skin care products. Up until recently, I never knew there was a need for it! I just assumed my face was as good as it was gonna get and there wasn’t a thing I could do about what I didn’t like.
“But first, skin care”
I was never extremely unfortunate with my skin though. I’ve considerably been very lucky! Rather than struggling with acne or blemishes I’d regularly experience dryness, occasional blackheads, and redness. Nothing a little foundation and concealer couldn’t fix right? Wrong. I’ve come to the conclusion now that there are so many great products out in the world geared towards my specific problem areas. Things I never knew existed!
One of those products (and my personal favorite) is this Ole Henriksen Wonderfeel Double Cleanser. This little guy is made for removing make up, hydration, and of course cleansing. An added bonus, it’s great for people with sensitive skin – the texture is light weight and creamy which makes it perfect for massaging into the cheeks, chin, neck, and under eyes.
I use it both in the morning when I’m getting ready to put make up on my face and at night when I’m preparing to take it off. It leaves me feeling refreshed every time no matter what. It’s becoming quite the necessity in my daily routine.
“When in doubt, pedal it out”
Going to the gym everyday has been a habit of mine lately. I’m super committed to changing my lifestyle drastically and the gym is the way I’ve been doing that. Specifically, with cardio. Typically, you can find me on the treadmill or elliptical and occasionally using the weight machines (I’m still new at this so bear with me). But recently I’ve been loving the bike! I’ve been doing 20 minute workouts with intervals. Meaning I’ll go hardcore on a high level for 5 minutes and switch back to a lower level up until my time is up. It keeps my heart rate going and acts as a game I try to beat! Feels like I’m at my own soul cycle in a way! Lol.
